Some more creativeness, thanks to Pintrest

Here's a few of the other things I've been working on this week.

Before and After

Pintrest has taken over. All my life I've had creative ideas in my head and didn't know how to get them into life. Pintrest has really helped with those ideas and tons of new ones. Here's a hutch I just finished. I bought the brown hutch from a lady for $35. $15 for new paint and the hardware was on clearance for less than $2. I love love the way it turned out. It's in my kitchen and will had my craft supplies.
Before, there were ugly wood handles
Painted White first.
About halfway done.

Done
I really like the white washed doors. I may have to touch them up a bit, but I like the beach house feel of it.

It's Finished!

I finished my first hat! It's going to fit baby M. I'm so excited to have finished something besides a scarf. My fingers hurt really on the sides. But I'm thrilled I finished. I had a friend so me how to start, I looked up how to finish on youtube! I never can figure out things like this on my own because of my left/right dyslexia. I'm really proud of myself! LOL!

Etsy, My Love

Fifteen yards each, a rainbow something or other is coming!
Delicious incense. I feel like such a rebel every time I light one. My dad was the son of firefighter and hated incense and candles. He probably still does, but it's my house. So Nah. ;)

To Control What I Can...

When I get stressed I like to control my surroundings. With so many things out of my control lately, I've felt the need to rearrange. Again. Thanks to Pintrest my wannabe creative side is very juicy! I didn't do a before, but for this little shelf at my stairs, it was empty. Here's the after:
Looking up the stairs.

From the landing looking up.

From the high steps looking straight on.

Leaning around the landing.

From the high steps down.

From the top down.
The second part of my re-do was my 'office' My husband is vacating his office space (previously my prayer room) in June. I've been using the back of our kitchen, but my back has been acting up and I was told to no loner use the bar stool against the cabinets. So until June, I came up with this little corner of my living room. Again, no before, but it was an empty corner. The table was previously in the entryway, but I have another idea for that space.

I'm loving being by the window.

Spiral....

Every week we think is the last week. Every week it's not. We've been sharing this sweet little soul for nearly six weeks. He's doing well, better than all of us. We're in a silly spiral. We're nearly there, but can't touch the center. Sometimes we're spinning close and sometimes farther away. I've come to the conclusion that we'll be taking him back and forth until he's eighteen.
