Gloucester is the most beautiful place in the spring! The daffodils grow wild everywhere and are planted along Main St. I love daffodils, like sunshine! At our old playgroup, there are fields of them behind the church are amazing. The pastor has always allowed us to pick our fill of them to enjoy. We do this every year. It's always something that I look forward too.

Mexican Rocks
So after getting our new to us van last night, we stopped at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Salsa. While there the boys got the little coloring placement. Shane was really taking his time finishing it. The other boys were devouring the chip and salsa basket, their favorite part (and mine too). Here's Shane's menu.
Then on the back he wrote Mexican Rocks!!! At the same time the bus boys were cleaning up and heard him and laughed out loud at him. I love my kids!! And Salsa!

Ooey Gooey Morning!
Sam slept with silly putty. No, I did not know this. I heard screams from Shane that Sam's head was leaking green goo.
So facebook rallied and my friend Joy came up with hand sanitizer to remove and it worked like MAGIC!!! It just slid right off into the wash cloth.
However, he was not happy about getting it squirted on his head. Notice it's on his shirt too. Also, it worked to remove the little bits from the carpet too.
See all gone!!!!
Beautiful, Beautiful
I'm just in love with this song! She's going to be at Glory at the Gardens at Busch Gardens this summer!!! There are two concerts that I will making sure I make it to this year. June 13th has Steven Curtis Chapman, Building 429,and this chickadee Francesca Battistelli. June 27th has Third Day, Britt Nicole, and Johnny Diaz! So excited!!! Anyway, here's Francesca's son Beautiful, Beautiful!
Curriculum Updated!
So, if anyone is following, I've updated my curriculum list. I ordered some things the other night. I changed spelling from Sequential Spelling to A Reason for Spelling.
This looks much more interesting for them. It has a weekly sessions instead of daily sessions.
Also for Bible Study we changed from Alpha Omega Lifepacs to Studying God's Word, it has more memory work and stories to go with the memory verses.
So far everything else is staying the same. I also ordered Bob Jones Science, but that was already on the list. I'll be so happy to get all this stuff in so that I can start planning out next years lessons. We're nearly done with this year in grammar and math. Also, I'm looking to change out math too, not sure yet.

Anderson Boy Project Part 2
Oh my is it loud!! It's running now, has a new paint job, a three seater seat and no muffler, so it's really loud. Sounds like a Monster Truck is the general cenus!
A nearly finished project, notice the mud from the test runs!
Shane's side.
There's going to be a fight about this soon, I think.
The Boys of Anderson :)
The three seater seat!!!
So I'm the mother of boys...I might as well get used to this stuff :)
Book Fair Bounty!!!!!
Oh books how I love thee!! This year was a little better than usual. We usually go to The Green Valley Book Fair in October, so it's Christmas buying time. This year was nice! Mom and Dad gave Anderson Academy a donation towards next year's educational costs, so that helped in the book buying madness. So here are photos for books for Anderson Academy.
A series on American Wars, sadly they didn't have all of them.
A series on military vessels!
Some Evan Moore books and a language Review
Some random books, Civil Rights, Animal Sounds, Narnia, and Faith Together in 15.
Boy's Bible Stories, follow up to Jackson's Jesus and Me book.
Not sure about this one, but Hip-Hop History with a CD for memorizing history facts, and good old Mad Libs to go with First Language Lessons.
And Now For Mommy Books!!!
The first one is a family of 19 kids, 14 are adopted from 4 nations, the second is Confessions of a Good Christian Girl, and Glenn Beck's Common Sense.
I don't usually buy fiction, I'm afraid I won't like it and the are a quarter a dozen a yard sales, but The Ten Year Nap looked good. The Jesus of Suburbia, and Eats, Shoots, and Leaves!!!
The Witches of Eastwick, a memoir Black, White, and Jewish, memoir Escape about a girl in a polygamist cult and her escape with her 8 children.
What Moms Do, The Dumbest Generation, and Alex (I read this at 12 and it has stayed with me, so excited to find it again!!)
The Little Prince (have been told many times to read this), Overkill (over using antibiotics in kids) another memoir.
opps. This goes in the school book section.
These are for Johnny. Louis L'amour Memoir. Boys' Own Stuff (from the Dangerous Series) and Why Fish Fart and other useless facts. :)
So all in all a great book weekend. I got all of these for $120!!!! I'm so excited. Now off to order more curriculum!!!!
